MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major global breakthroughs into the Latin pop scene. His 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu was the winner of the Colombian Kids Choice Award for the most popular Song in 2017. His debut album ADN was made available by La Industria Inc., a Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. The album reached number 8 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. The following year, he collaborated with Ozuna for the creation of Vaina Loca which was it was a Top Five hit. He also collaborated alongside Noriel on Mala Influencia in the year 2020, and next year, released his sophomore album which was the chart-topping Dopamina. In 2021, he was in a duo with TINI for her streaming single Maldita Foto. 2000 also saw the huge single La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo's parents and brothers were musicians at the time the time he was born. In interviews he has described his involvement in music as mandatory. He was taught how to play the saxophone and guitar as well as ukulele and keyboard as an infant. His initial goal was a career as a vet the brother Julian convinced him to take lessons in singing with the help of a Cuban instructor and as a result personally discovering his talent as a musician changed his entire life.
