Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, an artist's daughter, born in Mexico was born to an adored family of musicians. She spent most of her early years listening to classical music and boleros of the past, ranchero traditional or romantic music along with classic classical music. Ana is a fan of tangos and operas as well as other dramatic shows. Her mother taught her to sing, however she began more intensive training in vocals by Flavio Belcerra, who was 16 at the time when Belcerra was an internationally acclaimed Mexican opera tenor. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. The singer performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young scholar and professional. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and sings Latin American traditional music solo in a variety of private occasions. She has been involved with a number of local organizations in both teaching and performer, because of her love for music and arts. Ana is also a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for being able to share her love and love for old-fashioned Latin American songs with others as she hopes to inspire a passion to, particularly in the younger age group to keep this music vibrant and alive.Viva Mexico!
